"Cath. An’s work is deeply rooted in the words or sentences she read or heard along: “I nourish myself with all this. Sentences. Images. This nourishes me so much that at times I feel hot flushes of happiness – seeing that today the sentence appears to me under a certain light. And tomorrow, yet another light.” Once their resonances have revealed themselves, she then starts to scribble a few sketches, ideas of sequels and compositions. And then it’s time for the afterwards: bringing her camera along with her, she is guided by the moment. Through her photos, Cath.An. hopes to pass on the emotion and the atmosphere that have been brought up by these words and these sentences. She tries to share some poetry through her photos which are merely the echo of these words, sentences, turned into images."
